Founded in 2022 by Venerable Shi Xin Sheng, MUXILIN is a contemporary Buddhist platform created to harmonise spiritual wisdom with modern society. Rooted in the aspiration to allow Buddhism to evolve alongside cultural and social progress, MUXILIN bridges tradition and modern expression with clarity and purpose.

 

The name “Mu Xi” (慕西) draws inspiration from “羡慕西方”, a teaching of the late Venerable Shi Guang Jing, former Abbot of Singapore Long Shan Si—symbolising reverence, aspiration, and a mindful turning towards awakening.

 

Guided by compassion and relevance, MUXILIN serves as a space where Buddhism, culture, and modern life meet—moving forward together with dignity and meaning.
